Do you have a recommendation on an installer to talk to in central Texas? If the installer is the key ingredient, I would like to start with that, then see what they suggest.Agree!

In central TX, no. However, you may want to reach out to the folks at Xpel’s main shop in San Antonio which is right down the road from you…unless you think that’s too far!Do you have a recommendation on an installer to talk to in central Texas? I'm having it installed as we speak. I'll let you know how it turns out. My CeramicPro installer is the one doing it. PPF for the whole front and ceramic for the rest of the truck.I just discovered KAVACA PPF, does anyone have experience with it?

Ceramic Pro automotive paint protection films are the most advanced PPF films available today. Ceramic-coated and matte films.ceramicpro.com
Yes, please let me know if you are happy with it. If I may ask, why did you select KACACA? Also, are they removing things like taillights and what is the final cost?I'm having it installed as we speak. I'll let you know how it turns out. My CeramicPro installer is the one doing it. Ha, in Texas, 90 miles too far?? Dude, are you really in Texas? I am west of Austin, and picking up my Raptor next week from Houston area... San Antonio is a quick stop! Only takes as long to get from South Austin to San Antonio as it does from Lago Vista to South Austin.... but that says more about goofy Austin traffic than the distance! In central TX, no. All done and looks great. I used KAVACA because my guy is a CeramicPro installer and was doing ceramic from the front doors all the back so had him put KaAVACA on the whole front end. If you check out some of the YouTube videos the stuff is amazing. Was $4500, but I had paint correction done by them before I took it in to be coated (usually included).Yes, please let me know if you are happy with it. If I may ask, why did you select KACACA? Looks like he tinted the taillights as well? I went to the KAVACA place yesterday and was quoted the entire truck for clear PPF at $6k. It would cost $5k if they went around fixtures instead of tucking it inside. I also learned Ceramic Pro is already applied to clear, but not the matte. What about the headlights? I made an appointment next week. I was quoted 5 days, how long did it take to finish your truck and did they also tint your windows? FYI, a few years ago I was driving an M4 on the freeway and a few small rocks from the construction zone on the opposite side, hit the hood and headlamps. They only left small pits, but it cost $17k for repairs. After a war, Allstate covered the cost, but they did not have OEM replacement and wanted to use parts from China, so I kicked in another $8k. I dropped Allstate afterward and now pay less than $100 more per year to add OEM coverage to the AAA policy. I had the tails wrapped and windows tinted by RappyGraphics when they did the other graphics on the truck. Those were done about a month before I got it PPF/coated. My CermicPro guy ended up having my truck for about 2 weeks, but more because he had some personal stuff come up and couldn’t work on it. But usually he said it would be about a week. Damn, $17k for that sounds excessive! I don’t know how it’s ok for them to cut corners with non-OEM parts. Isn’t the point to put it back the way that is was?? 4500 was for forward of the doors and ceramic coating the truck. PPF was not tucked. It was all cut out on a plotter and then applied. I wish I would have got it done as soon as I got my truck. Waiting allowed some small scratches and stone marks. I feel if I sold it tomorrow I could get that money back out of it. But might not be worth the investment to everyone. Please confirm you paid 4500 for everything forward of the doors? Did they tuck everything in, or is there a small gap around headlamps and such. I have a lot on my plate and wasn’t smart enough to keep notes, but KAVACA recent told me 7k to tuck everything in and 6k if they leave about 1/16” gap and not tuck. I thought they told me 6k and 5k previously, but I’m not sure. I don’t mind paying market price, but just don’t want to be taken to the cleaners. If you paid 4500 for the front, I would think 7k for the entire truck is fair. I will have the hood and bed Rhino Lined Tuesday and as of now, scheduled for PPF to begin Wednesday. The difficult part for me is I GENERALLY like my 2019 Raptor better than the 2021 37 I just got. The 37 is higher than I anticipated, but it has better tech than the 2019. The shocks and ride on the 2021 is also slightly better as well. I still do not know if I will keep the 37, which is the reason I should not drop anymore money into it. However, if I was smart, my last name would be Musk
