I took a test ride in a '12 raptor, was trying to buy used until we realized there was not much difference between a used '12 and the custom ordered '13 even at SoCal prices.

Anyways, so thanks to this site and the fact that my wife and I did a shit ton of research since the trucks came out, I decided to have a little fun. I started asking the salesman questions that I of course knew the answer to but maybe an uneducated driver just wanting a street queen. I only got to question one because he didn't know the answer to my question. What was the question you ask : how does the sync connect to my phone? So the reason we only got through question 1 on this 15 minute test drive was that after he have me the I don't know, he spent the next 10 minutes googling the answer on his phone and found the answer as we were pulling back into the dealer.

Needless to say, we ordered a brand new one from a different dealership.

Told the kid that caught me while looking at the '13 I had got $3,000 off list on the "11 and he said they didn't give that much off Raps. After I told him to get the GM he looked up my 2011 and said Damn you did get 3 off. Yep told him I don't lie. Must be all those Leave it to Beaver shows I watched! That Beave lied on every episode and always got caught! Haha
$55,600 list and $52,600 out the door.

I wonder if rolling one of our built sick looking raptors up to the dealership to look at a new one puts us in some odd VIP, salesmen suck your **** club.

I took the truck for the one free oil change after I had only put a mbrp turndown on it. When the guy hopped in and started it up to take it around , he just said holy shit. Once I win that header giveaway and go back for warranty work I wanna see what they will say.
