I would like to keep rear section, i know i could go out and look but it's pouring outside right now.

Isn't the muffler/tail pipe one section on a raptor?

Would like to know the same thing. According the the vids it seems like it is one section

Deleted the muffler and installed a 3" in y-pipe with 2.5" dual outs to connect back with the stock tail pipes. looked completely factory . Sounded great and didn't see a loss in mileage. Now i wanted more as everybody does, deleted muffler and resonator and ran a solid 3" pipe off the factory Y to a lightning style exit(in front of the rear tire) and installed a Corsa tip 3" in and dual 4" out tips. Sounds the way a Raptor should. But i also am running a AFE stage 2 and a custom tune . There is a slight drone but the radio and my right foot get rid of it .

I kept the res in place and put a Dougs Cut Out just behind it. Then I put a turn down on the end of the Doug's. It's like running just the res to an open exhaust but you can close the cutout and its back to stock. Love it!

The muffler and tails are one section which connect via a slip fitting to the res which is bolted on to the leads by a flange.
