I just ordered a 2012 black on black Raptor crew cab. Now I just have to wait 4-8 weeks for it to get here. I'm really happy to find this forum, everyone seems awesome!

Lots of very knowlegable guys here who are willing to share that knowlege. I don't want to discourage you in any way, but you might be waiting a bit more than 8 weeks for your Raptor.
I ordered mine the third week of February, and got my VIN on April 11. Mine is scheduled to be built the week of May 7, then hopefully delivered 2 weeks or so later.
Bottom line is be patient. It will be well worth the wait.

Welcome! I ordered almost the same exact thing, except I decided to go with the Blue accent interior. You'll get yours before me, stupid Afghanistan.

Congratulations. Like everyone said, patience is a virtue but waiting for a Raptor is a necessity!
- Ordered my Red Screw March 26
- VIN received April 11
- Built April 17
- Sitting in Dearbourne awaiting shipment since. Shipping seems to take anywhere between 2-3 weeks on average from what I've heard/read. Should be getting mine around wek of May 14.
