Realistically, that’s all it’ll be. An engine option, with possibly a little interior trim upgrades.

I can’t see the suspension changing beyond simply spring/damper tuning.

Most likely this, but I really wish all of the Gen 3 Raptors had at least an option for a brake upgrade. If this R version has the same basic F-150 brakes that will be a big miss in my eyes.

Then Ford can top that by making a Lightning that can do 0-60 in 1.5 seconds!!!! (30 mile range)
I’ve been watching the reviews TFL has been doing on the lightning. Every video proves why electric vehicles have a long way to go, especially in a truck. It’s a nice truck, but when your range drops to under 100 miles while towing a camper, it’s a hard pass for me.

Or when the states power grid can't even handle summer heat.... Not sure how we are all supposed to charge cars.

I have a buddy that lives south of Houston. He took delivery of a Rivian a while back, but kept his 2019 or 2020 Ram for long distance trips. He uses the Rivian to commute because he does around 60 miles a day. When it gets over 100F he will actually take the Ram because the A/C in the Rivian isn’t very good.

So bad range when towing, a weak A/C system, power grids that can’t handle the current loads, and a battery that loses charge in colder climates. Yup- electric vehicles are here to save us…

Give me a gas burning Truck anyway! Whether it’s a Raptor with the EcoPoop or the R, or the TRX, at least I know I can trust the vehicle in all conditions!

And when the next hurricane hits and he needs to evacuate the family, he's going to really be glad he kept the Ram. You absolutely still need to have a gas vehicle for those cases, no matter how rare, when electric won't cut it.
