@TheWolf Only thing I can think of is to ensure that the longer hose with the check valve in the middle is oriented properly. The arrow should be in the desired direction of airflow which would be toward the intake. Beyond that, make give your connections a good tug to ensure they are connected completely. It's easy to get the connector on most of the way without it actually clicking past the ridge on the outlet/inlet for the valve cover and intake respectively.

That is the problem. I did not notice that was a check valve, just figured it was a swivel. Thanks!

Now, what kind of damage could have been done by not having crankcase ventilation?

And maybe I missed this in the previous posts, but why does this hose have a check valve? Neither the OEM hose or the JLT have a check valve.

@TheWolf the check valve keeps anything from going backwards especially under WOT conditions. I'll PM you Jon Bowen's info so you can check with him. I also installed the hose incorrectly, but I checked with Jon and caught my mistake before driving with the hose that way.

Installed mine last night. Was not hard, since there were no instructions I had to look at the pics a few times to see if I got it right. But I have a question what kind of maintenance does this need. Also, I was able to unscrew the very bottom of the canister but does it come apart higher up? I would think it would get pretty messy if only the bottom came undone.

Here's my install. install2.jpg

@NM156 Maintanence is checking the can every 3-5k. Typically the can fills faster in cooler weather due to more condensation. The can should unscrew just above where the top of the mesh baffle/filter starts inside the can. Could be that the can is a cylinder with an extension at the very bottom.

Shouldn't the arrow on the hose be pointed towards the can? The air is coming from the intake connection through the can and into the crankcase at the valve cover.

Just received my catch can here in France, it looks pretty solid...

Quick question about hoses connection. If I understood right, I need to find that arrow on the longer hose with check valve and point the arrow toward the intake...So it means air is flowing from engine to intake right ?

Sorry for the Über newbie question lol...
