I have a 2017 with a jlt performance cai installed and i keep getting a check engine light. Code P04DB. I got it almost immediately after install on the first drive. I contacted JLT and they sent me a tube to install into the pcv fitting. A new fix they are trying for the 17's. I cleared the codes and it seemed to work fine for about a day or so and now the check engine light is back again. Trying to find out what my next step should be. Try and return it and go back to stock? I don't want to be riding around with my check engine lights on just to have a cold air intake. Doesn't require a tune for it to work right and don't want to get a tuner to turn off that one code. Do all 2017's have this issue with intakes?

I have an AFE intake, but it used the same slashed tube. It can spin in the hose. I would disassemble and see which way the slash is facing, mine had spun around.

My Afe slash tube was a tight press fit. Wont spin when I try to turn it.

Guess possible over time could loosen with heat cycles.

Id try a small dab of model glue or nail glue. And just plan for replacing that tube if u ever had to.

Oh, btw the slash tube for afe is plastic, yours looks metal.

Could try gripping it with come channel locks, see if u can make some “teeth” in it.

Mine was a tight press fit too! (40,000 miles ago)

My AFE is definitely metal, not plastic, but Mine was pretty early production.

Didn't know i had all these replies. Well i checked it out today and the tube was spent around, so i guess thats whey the code came back. My tube is metal that JLT gave me. I"m still waiting to hear back from jlt on this also. I put a little touch of super glue on the fitting and tried to scuff it up. Hopefully that will help it not spin so easly. So after fixing that and clearing the code we'll see how long till it comes back if it does. I wonder if that afe slash tube would fit or have a better fit.

Glad it was just the tube spinning, I was relieved when I found out that was all it was on mine.
