Former Wrangler owner reporting...I think it is roughly the same...about 50% of either would return a wave.

I will wave at fellow raptor owners. I just got a wave back from a gen 1 owner last night. I can see what some of you are saying though, the only off-road some of these raptors will see will be a construction zone leaving the mall or from a Starbucks. I come from a Subaru community and I am a avid motorcycle rider. The motorcycle wave is not to just say hi to another fellow rider. I find a lot of fellow riders who don’t even know the back story. It’s two fingers out and downward for meaning two wheels down continue your safe ride. So maybe being we have four wheels we throw 4 fingers out and down for pretty much saying keep the rubber side down, don’t roll your expensive truck? Haha just joking.

Another former Wrangler owner here …I won’t initiate but I’ll reciprocate if I see it.

I use my truck as intended. Keeping my precious cargo (2 boys) safe and with a big smile on their faces. I can’t think of a better use for it.
