Hi everyone,

Thank you in advance for the help, I have tried the search feature and researched and taken my 2022 Raptor to two repair shops with the information i read and both gave the same diagnosis/opinion which i do not believe and why i am posting here. My father has a auto shop but lives a ways away from me but over the holidays i had him bring his scan tool and did pull the codes. Jumping right to their diagnosis both shops said i need a transfer case.

Some back story:

I starting hearing the grinding/clicking noise in 2wd from the front left, in 4WD there is is no noise(when it goes in, typically doesn't and says service 4WD or goes in and when i push 2WD starts the noise again. It shows a service light and raptor modes stop working.) I was asking for the IWE to be replaced but the shop said it is the transfer case and didn't replace it.

One code I pulled with my father over the holidays is U0403-00 invalid data received from transfer case control module

The codes it shows on the scanner under transfer case control
C06A1-77 Wheel hub disconnect motor "A" control
C06A1-92 Wheel hub disconnect motor "A" control

Hey did you end up figuring out what it was? im actually having issue in 2h as well where i feel \ hear a grind noise or some sort of resistance via the front driver side. It doesnt happen when im in 4a, i got an apt with ford later this week but the local dealer's tech isnt the best... I didnt get any light thrown however.
