I've Got Bad Gas - How Do I Get Rid of It?

OK, seriously. I have a 5 gallon can of gas from some months ago and I don't want to use it in my Raptor. Where/how can I get rid of this gas legally and safely so I can get a fill-up of some fresh gas?

Usually good for about a year...just shake.it up a bit before. If you don't feel comfortable with that you can get 2 more 5 gallon cans and fill them half way and mix the old and new gas to. Then top your tank offin your truck with the newly mixed gas and you'll be fine. If you don't really want it bring it to Afton Canyon and I will dispose of it for you. Make sure.to bring a ton of Sobe drinks...5 gallons goes a long way!!!

Use mine as parts cleaner/ degreaser. But you want to know where to get rid of it. Can't help there.

If you really want to just get rid of it, head to your local recycling center, probably at the same local as your city/county dump. Up here, our recycling center has a facility for accepting and processing hazardous materials. I believe gasoline is one of them. They're going to charge for the pleasure though. I wouldn't be surprised if they whack you $5 a gal or so.

Put it in a cheap gas can and leave it in the bed of your truck at home depot or mall. Someone will decide that they need it more than you do.

That's a suggestion I hadn't thought of :thumbsup: Maybe I should put a "91 octane" label on it to help "sell" the theft :mrgreen:
