So Ford doesn't have any V8s that fit the Raptor? Seems a pretty significant oversight if V8s are as popular as you claim.

Ford is offering the 3.5 PRIMARILY for marketing purposes.

Marketing plans are not static. R&D dollars for the new motor will need to be recouped. And Ford finally has some competition coming in the form of at least one supercharged V8 truck.

How did a post about a competitive truck to the Raptor devolve into the same old V8 vs V6 argument happen? Everyone get over it, the Gen II Raptor has the 3.5 HO V6 and the Gen I has a 6.2L V8...so what!! Put your hard earned $$'s on whichever one you like! But stop bitching about it here. Personally, after being a "V8 only" guy (until a friend suggested I try the 3.5 EB V6) in my 2016 KR I would always order the V8, have to tell you my 2016 KR would smoke my 2013 5.0 Plat...lighter weight and amazing torque...but does it really matter to anyone but me? NO! I personally am more interested in what the competition is doing (and how it will push Ford to new heights with the Raptor) than the old and boring V8 vs V6 useless debate...off rant now

Nope, just wondering where the 7.0 Raptor is. What's the holdup? It's a pretty basic truck engine with a little Taurus technology sprinkled on top to boost MPG. No technological reason it should be delayed. Unless of course it's just blogspam vaporware.

If you weren't drunk or stoned last night, then you are a deeply strange and confused person. I am uncertain if you were having a conversation with me or the voices inside your head. Either way, you were making about as much sense as a Taurus motor in full size truck.
