The tires were rotated about 2000 miles back. They're practically new. Maybe have 3,000 miles on them. I had them rotated with the oil change/cam phaser service.
Couldn't find the gnome to take the tape from him. Hopefully he will be easier to locate during daylight hours.
I'll check the fender liners in the morning.
The sound was like I ran over thin pieces of metal but there was nothing in the road to hit. That's where the sheetrock corner bead thought came from. Same with the tape measure sound. It lasted maybe a second or so but was loud enough to certainly get my attention, and the attention of everyone else in the truck. I've never heard a sound like that come from a vehicle.
I'm not real sure what tags in underwear has to do with this. But, no tags. Hate them things.
IWE until proven otherwise. The dealership should be able to put vacuum to the system while getting your sunroof fixed and give you a definitive answer.
