Is Towing mpg really this bad?

First Tow

Hooked up my 4430 lbs boat, plus trailer weight today. Did not squat much at all, and truck towed it without issue to the Marina today. That dude needs to learn how to properly distribute a load while towing. COMPLETE IDIOT.

That article was crap, seems like someone with zero common sense. I mean he got a 4wd stuck in his yard.....LOL. As for MPG we can both drive the same truck and get to our destination at the same time and gas mileage can vary drastically.

Towed my ski boat 400 miles this weekend 3500 pounds + trailer and loaded truck. Averaged 13 mpg at 70 - I continue to impressed with this truck in every way.
