Is this an odd idea?

So I just want opinions on what people have seen in the past. I have a 2020 that I have built up with some nice parts. Truth be told Ive never been one to keep an old body style when a new ones is out. The 21's are coming I am told mid august so I am starting to plan for that. I have ADD bumpers front and rear but no longer have the stock ones. Is it an odd idea to sell them to someone for in exchange cash and their stock bumpers? I am picturing meeting at a house and physically installing each set on both trucks. I am not sure if this is normal or not. Just trying to come up with a plan to recoup some funds in the near future. Thanks for the time.

Sounds pretty reasonable to me. Not sure if I'd want to do it in someone's driveway but no reason he can't go to your house and swap the already removed bumpers.

I'm sure you'd get a decent amount of interest depending where you are.

Thats a good point. Only reason I was thinking that was I remember the stock bumpers having quite a few small tabs and what not. I am not sure that I can remember how it bolts up exactly without having one in front of me to remind the of the steps.

But I guess one thing to think about. It looks like you have the add pro so may need to swap Adaptive cruise control locations and you'd technically need the intercooler shrouds/shutter to be completely stock. So now that I think about it, it may be simpler to do the uninstall and reinstall together.

But in my opinion, that all sounds like a lot of work for marginal gain. Maybe take off some of the lights that aren't integral to the look and call it done. I think the bumper looks good enough that it wouldn't be a negative for resale and maybe a positive.

You're right it is the ADD pro bolt on. I did no cutting or removal of parts other than the shroud. I had to cut the rear metal license plate bracket for the rear, and I am unsure if the rear stock bumper will work without that plate in place. I guess in my mind I figured I would get a couple thousand due to the setup I have being close to $4k all in. I am not sure if a dealer would give any extra for the parts in the event of trading.

Oh yeah I forgot you had the rear. Then it does become a more significant amount to consider. But not weird, just need to find the right guy. Good luck!!
