I didn't get the Nav, decided it was too much money for the simple reason I don't really think I need a built-in Nav... I have a Garmin I stuff in the arm storage, and can slap it on the window anytime I don't already know where I'm goin. 50 bucks versus... 2,200 bucks... With the exact same result of gettin from A to B. You do the math.
Honestly extremely glad I didn't buy another thing to go wrong with my truck some time down the road.
It would be something I'd have considered if the cost was significantly lower. I will say though that I have fiddled with the Nav in the trucks that did have it, and it was definately pretty cool... I guess if money is no object and you want somethin to look neat.... Nothin stoppin ya from forkin up for it ! I think they did a great job with the factory Nav setup. And it saves you the trouble of putting one in yourself or finding someone to do it for you.
I'm happy with my Garmin, it's a Knight rider GPS that I had in my black Camaro before & addresses me by name! lol.
Also.. I'd rather put something custom in at a later time if I ever feel like thats what I wanna put 2200 bucks into.. 2200 bucks would get me a new shell, a new light bar / bumper, some new wheels/tires , some vinyl / paint work... a whole lot of line-x.... or all kinds of other goodies I'd rather have. (Not all at once of course, but I could pick & choose). Most things on that list are more appealing/useful to me than a Nav.
All about individual preference though!
I'm sure everyone who went the route they preferred was equally happy in the end.
