..... you obviously are having trouble following. We are talking about stock motors under factory warranty.

Says who? I never said anything about a stock factory motor.

All I said was slap 2 more cylinders on a V6 and you would have more power.

You're the one whos assuming all kinds of stupid shit.

And factory stock motors? The 5.2 V8 puts out 526 HP. Thats more power than the TT ecoboost. so... okay. if you want to restrict this to factory stock motors there you go.

bahahaha

The fact you think im a snowflake just proves you know nothing. Im not the one crying a TT v6 can be out powered by a NA V8.

Im nowhere near being a snowflake. but hey, if thinking that helps your ******** sleep at night, do what ya gotta do.

Well this is just silly...I had a 572 C10 once that made more power than the Jennifer I own and I'm sure Jennifer will make more power than it did at some point. Sure a V8 can make more power but we don't have a V8 today. If they bring one I'll buy one. Hell, I'll buy a TRX if they build it. I like a V8 over a 6 any day. I would like to point out that the 5.2 does make more power but is down just under 100 lb-ft. I think torque is of more importance in this application.

Back on point, I now have 2,164 miles and my truck doesn't feel any faster if that helps.

Mav- anyone that drives a maverick couldn't be a snowflake[emoji1303]

I emailed a friend that works for Ford Performance and asked him about this. I got an email and a call from his yesterday. He said he did some digging on that and from what he has found there is nothing in the PCM programming that would do this.

I’ll reserve judgment. We have one instance reporting this, when we have 3 or more, with equal or similar results, then I’ll give this more credence than “unsubstantiated rumor”.

Look, i had a ZX11 with 155 rwhp with over 200 dyno runs. One day the operator hooked up dyno incorrectly, and it read 268 hp. Did my naturally aspirated, $8000 japanese inline 4 suddenly gain over 100 hp?

Nope. It was a cool looking dyno graph though. Correctly hooked up after a cool down showed back to the 155 range.

so yeah, color me skeptical.

Just sayin’ Darin...
