Is 2024 considered G4?

G1 and G2 had minor tweaks and upgrades, but none had a mid cycle styling refresh. Does 2024 usher in G4 Raptors......or since the changes are cosmetic only is it still a G3? Im asking because I know the internet is where all irrelevant questions matter.

Gen 2 was refreshed in 2019 with live valves and other changes. This is still Gen 3.

gen 1 and gen 2 had um..... quite a few differences.

gen 1 had an update in 2013 which gave it a couple new features but 13 and 14 are still gen 1.

gen 2 had an update in 2018 and 2019 which gave it a couple new features, but 19 and 20 are still a gen 2.

gen 3 is getting a couple new features and updates in 24 but 24 is still going to be a gen 3.

If you look around, you can find threads from two years ago where people were complaining that gen 3 should have been called gen 2.5 because the changes were so minor between '20 and '21. I don't agree, the rear suspension is a major improvement, but gen 4? Thanks for the laugh.
