You going to try and make you're rack fit under you're need cover or are you planning to go topples to show of your rack?

It'll fit perfect under the cover. My RACK will be hidden.lol

Nice jack. I used it multiple times in Baja this year. The owner had taken off the wheels and put an aluminum (maybe stainless??) skid under it.

I plan on taking off my wheels as well and putting on a skid. Got this one from Harbor Freight for $160. Seemed like a good price for a 2 Ton.
Definitely light as a feather.

Mind PM'ing link/URL?

Also, I know Foutz made Trey's skid. But, Trey had an idea to improve it. Ping him and ask what changes he would have made.

Thanks.

So far so good Ironman! I know it will be sweet when your done. As long as your high point is no more than 21", you will be fine for any bed cover. Its an added bonus to have such a complete rack and then close it up and lock everything inside. I love mine.

Cant wait to see the next pics. As an FYI, I used Rustoleum black pick-up bed spraypaint and really like the results. Home Depot/Lowes both sell it.

I'll leave it here as well for anyone else that may be interested in the jack.
Low Profile Aluminum Racing Jack - 2 Ton, Rapid Pump®

I'll send Trey a pm as well. I know Tizz has a skid as well, not sure where he got it, i'll have to ask him.

I've been sketching out some ideas for my own rack. I've got the tire laying flat elevated so it sits just under my cover. It leaves enough room for the jack and some other gear under the tire.

That's how this one will be. It's exactly 12" for me from the bottom of the top edge of the tire down to the bed of the truck.
My A.R.E. cover has 24" of clearance, so lots of room to play with.

This is exactly how high my tire will be.
