No worries. I'm the believe when I see it kinda guy as well. But, when you actually do see it don't forget to mail me a check with your gratitude :)

Consider it done. After I pay for the truck and all the mods I've been acrueing while waiting for it. Your gratuity should be about 13cents!:waytogo:

I like the idea of being able to start the truck every couple of days while away. Would be a great feature.

A buddy of mine just got a 2013 GMC with On Star that uses the iPhone app. It is cool that he can check the tires air and the battery and start the car, but when I park next to him... Jeff knows who got the cooler truck. :waytogo:

here, on frf
you should be able to, however its probably going to cost a lot. you would need an aftermarket keyless entry system the smart start from dei, and a remote start system. first the keyless entry system mut have an optional channel available to use remote start. the reason i say keyless entry is because it can be programmed to use you factory key for all functions so you dont have an extra remote on your keychain. then the remote start module would have to be connected to the keyless entry and your vehicle, the next step would be to install the smart start and finally you have to pay dei for a subscription for smart start. $50 every six months or every year i forget. but it is a paid service
