why couldn't you? Get a wireless OBDII connector and an app that reads it and you absolutely could. @DesaRaptor has a setup with a wireless OBDII connector and his iPad mounted on a RAM mount. Don't see why it wouldn't work with this setup.

I'm interested now:wizhuh:. A way to tie it into Sync and radio controls? I guess there's backdoor ways like moving the controls in the dash and steering wheel buttons. I'm intrigued by his setup if someone has the link.

That iPad kit is awesome!!!!!

Thanks man. Took it to TRR and I can say the magnets held the iPad in place throughout the entire weekend, jumps and all.

Since then I extended the wires and plug for the other controls and have them in my glove box. So now if I need to change the clock or any other settings, like adding a phone to Bluetooth when I upgrade phones, or whatever, I just open the glovebox, hookup the stock dash panel and can control all those options.

Had a police officer pull me over for speeding and no front plate about a month ago, and I switched the iPad over to google maps since I had a baseball game on and wanted it to look like I was only using it for directions. He asked me if that was an iPad and if it could do any of the other iPad functions, I showed him some music streaming and then put the game on and he was like "bad ass, I need that." Gave him the link and he gave me a warning!!!

Haha That's awesome. I wish the mounts for the iPad's weren't such a ridiculous price and I just sold my iPad too :(
