Intermittent Rattle

Guys
I have a 2018 Raptorand I am getting a wierd intermittent rattle from the passenger side rear wheel area. it sounds like a hubcap full of rocks. It only lasts for a few seconds and only occurrs between 20 -36mph.
It does not do this consistantly. It does it one day then nothing for a couple of days and then does it again.
I have an appoint to drop it off Monday but unless it does it on a test drive they won't know what it is.
We took a recording of it but the service tech could figure it out.

I dont think it is bearings because it would happen all the time. It almost sounds like a rattle in the catalytic???
Have any of you had this rattle occur?

I had the phase cam timing thing fixed a few months ago.

Is the IWE rattle up front or in the rear?

Sounds like iwe check the lines. It's a common problem

If it is truly in the rear, it is not the IWE.

I chased a rattle in the rear for like a week even greased the leaf springs and lubed everything. Then I put the tailgate down for the first time in a while and it stopped. Try standing on your back bumper and bouncing I bet it's the tailgate. Sunroof also will rattle during winter if you dont open it every once in a while

I have a rattle coming from somewhere in the rear when going about 20-30 mph over bumpy/rough pavement. Sounds like a rattle from rear seat latches or something. Noticed the jack was slightly loose and could make it rattle so I added some foam strips under the jack and secured it to stop it from rattling. Really thought I fixed the rattle but that was not it. Also have been under the truck and checked everything I could think of including fuel tank skid plate because it had a rattle also.
Im thinking I need the let someone else drive the truck going over roads the produce the rattling while I get in the back seat to check seats, doors, and push in various places including the sunroof.
For now, Ive kind of written it off as rattling possibly coming from my Rolltop cover on the bed. Its a Retrax. Maybe the spool inside is rattling.

But I haven’t thought about the tailgate rattling. Things are kind of flexible and giving back there.
Will have to see if I hear a rattle with tailgate down.

Unfortunately, that creates its own problems for us. The F150 moonroof mechanism is very fragile and can easily break when you only use it once or twice a year. I’ve heard other have been popping it to the vent position first, then opening. There’s also some super expensive lubricant you can buy to help keep the mechanism from binding when the moon roof gets sticky.
