My dobie sets off the interior alarm every time I forget to disable it. The other day was super hot and the double sided tape let loose on my cobb access port causing it to dangle from the cord setting off the alarm.

Is there any way to make "perimeter only" the default setting?
Every time I set perimeter as the only function enabled it defaults to both interior and exterior. I just disable it before I exit when the pup is with me.

I never thought about the interior alarm sensors until I the first time I slept on the back seat. The key was with me the entire time and the alarm went off a few times while I was arranging/getting into the sleeping bag.

Had no idea what happened until thinking about it the next day and remembering the sensors. Of course this all took place at a public campground.

That's a funny one. So you had the key/fob on you? Yea, it shouldn't make a difference if you do or don't.. alarm is active it's active. if i go to open the door from inside handle while fob is pocket, alarm goes no prob. the sensors should trigger regardless of location of fob.

Ok.. so just armed alarm. took fob out of pocket and away from me. waited till inside lights go out along with dash fading out. waited another minute. then took my phone out of cup holder... waved in front of the frickn sensors... walked away. waited again. tried again..nothing. i reach in and open from the handle inside, and dash comes up saying start to stop alarm... they are apparently NOT working..

:banghead: :wtf2:

Mine has an option to arm the whole system or perimeter only, could be only the perimeter is armed.
Nope. gives option @ exit... and also double checked in menu. " ALL SENSORS " is chosen at exit and menu option is, well, ask at exit. :)

thank you tho.

I have another theory now. I had my roof's shade replaced earlier this year, which involved removing :Stupid Me: ---yes cringe here, at this moment.. entire headliner  to replace said shade. which in turn subs out the work to 3rd upholstery guy contracted w/ dealer. :rage:

took 4 days from drop to pickup. when i got it back, the visors wouldn't clip in like usual and were really hard to snap in. didn't know what was going on and finally figured out there is/was a left and a right one for them. finally just unscrewed them two weeks later for giggles and swapped. maybe the ******* forgot to hook them back up..?

but wouldn't other things have issues? like the upfitter switches?? they work. (only have two hooked up, but otherwise they all light up and least 3 deliver pwr as I just worked with those my self) sunroof and lighting buttons all work.
