I was checking everything for any leaks and I noticed a small pin hole at the edge of the muffler. With the truck started it was def leaking air/exhaust out of it. I was looking at it and the hole is perfectly symmetrical. As in, it seems the hole was put there on purpose. Also the hole looks to be beveled so it def came from a drill bit. It is almost at the bottom of the muffler so I assume it is there for water drainage?

I don't know of any mufflers that require a hole for drainage. Most likely a manufacturer defect, I'd give them a call.

Many mufflers have a small drain hole so condensate doesn't build on the inside and pool. Just like an air compressor tank, getting the condensate out is good.
