Would be cool if the AOS drained the oil back into the crankcase. Any water would get evaporated as soon as it went back in.

Fuel would be draining back too and DI tends to cause more fuel dilution. The amount of oil caught in a catch can is so insignificant (on a healthy engine) it's not worth the hassle routing it and all the other crap back into the engine.

I had a passenger side oil catch can on my gt350s. One was a JLT brand and the other was FP. Really helped with the voodoo engine. Now I’m thinking of getting one for my 23 37PP.

I had a passenger side oil catch can on my gt350s. One was a JLT brand and the other was FP. Really helped with the voodoo engine. Now I’m thinking of getting one for my 23 37PP.
I've now had 2 5K changes while running Mobil 1 with the can on. Both times there was an ounce or less of VERY clean looking oil. Most of the pics I've seen over the years guys had chocolate milk/milk shake looking crap in their can. Mine looks like you just drained a little out of the pan.

Run a UPR dual catch can and to empty I just turn the lever.

It was very expensive but it also included a uni breather the replaces the oil cap. This is to release any pressure should it build up in very cold climates. It also came with a different air sensor that had a Ford tag on it which had to be turned a certain way installed on the drivers side.

No codes and has worked flawlessly.

Bit of a thread necro, but I have the same one. It works great.

I actually unscrew the lower part of the catch can and empty it out at every oil change. Don’t know what y’all are doing to get clean oil in yours, but mine is a nasty smelling mess that looks like a chunky chocolate milkshake (indicating water vapor mixed in as well) every time:

Can’t imagine that crap going back into the intake.

That's what I'm used to seeing when guys post pics of what is in their catch can. Mine just has really clean looking oil.

depends on the moisture in the area i found

Sometimes the catch can on my lightning is clean or that lovely peanut butter look.

So far my rap with the FP one has been just oil

Same with mine so far --- running the UPR setup on the drivers side but vents both passenger and drivers.... I only get a small amount from it but if it catches anything that won't go back into the motor I call that worth it....
