1) the cheapest spray lines in my area was 475 and I can do line-x for 500 90 minutes away. and I am pretty rough on it...

2,4) rust....thinking on the bumber, but the cost is high, if u consider all lights and everything else involved. I do like the iron bull, the stealth is $$$$$

3)Thanks for the light info, but your A4 ambers look to be sold out

5. I will chk out the TMX mounts for your lights

6. Got no tools for a mid perch, ...but I may know someone..

We don't stock the Apollo4 amber spots because we haven't seen any market for them. Most folks want white spots and amber floods. We have plenty of amber floods in stock, make sure to change the drop down box to "Flood" under beam pattern.

Do it in stages, yes bumpers aren't cheap, and add lights and the holy shit factor hits you, but god for bid, you hit a deer, price the damaged truck parts, and the holy shit im an ass factor sets in, should of got bumpers.
Take your time , think and buy. Good luck with your new toy.

I agree. Stack the priorities in your favor. Figure out what lighting options you want with whatever bumper you want and plan accordingly. Even if you have to run without lights for a little bit, it's okay. Even stock Raptor looks badass enough to rock some tough bumpers with no other modifications. And since you live in deer country and are most concerned about that, I think a bumper is probably your biggest priority at this time.

preliminary bumber of choice is road armor, but it will have to wait a couple of months.In the meantime will have to get lights which will fit said bumper in the future, while putting into current one.
Seeing the deer is the first line of defense...
Thinking of amber flood and white driving or spot sets..thoughts?

Next week getting line x done on bed and wells...rockers may just get a cleaning and a coat of amsoil.
Mud flaps anyone???

I run mud flaps, keeps a lot of crap off the side of the truck, I made mine, didn't want to drop 100 bucks on them if I didn't like them, do a search lots of write ups on them.

Had Vortex mudflaps, took em off and now using PDP brand, seems alot better so far.

Here's a couple pictures after I installed, I set them 12" from the ground, I can cut them If I need to, and no more of that crap you see on the exhaust.

Scott - What is your biggest priority with your lighting? Is it just being able to see the deer from the furthest distance? If so, I would go with white spots and white floods for the outside openings of that bumper or go with a set of driving and floods for a little more width.

As for amber, are you wanting this for fog/snow conditions? If you're wanting pure distance, your best bet is to go with all white lights.

My recommendations for that bumper would be 2 Apollo Optics Elite 6" Double Row bars in a combination pattern with 2 Apollo6 Driving Lights on the inner fog openings and either 2 Apollo4 5w white floods or 2 Apollo4 amber floods depending on your color choice. This should give you a perfect amount of distance and width for deer spotting on the road in front of you and also with the wide coverage to be able to catch the eyes on the sides of the road. In the meantime, 2 Apollo6 lights and 2 Apollo4 floods are a great setup for the factory bumper. If you have any more questions, please let me know!
