UPDATE: I took it back to Ford after I started hearing a slightly louder whooooshing noise on acceleration, I did a smoke test on the intake and didnt find any leaks so I immediately leaned towards possibly the boost turbo diverter valve/blow off valve leaking internally. I dropped it off after driving it with a Ford driveability tech and he confirmed the problem. They called me the same day and said the diverter valve is bad and leaking internally, it has a rubber diaphragm that tears over time.

I got the truck back and it drives much better, seems like that was the problem after all. I will still upgrade the diverter/blow off valve to the turbosmart valve and CVF intercooler shortly.

Update, do NOT use the turbosmart diverter valve, it is junk and sticks. Also the connector was a pain to plug in.

Hello everyone I own a 2017 raptor and I have a similar issue. When I slightly step on the throttle and rpm is usually below 2,000 it feels like hiccups but the truck isn’t shaking or anything but the accetaltion feels like is being cutoff and coming back on! It’s driving me nuts

Probably spark plugs would be the first place to start. Need the right temp range AND the correct gap.

Would you call it more of a surging feeling when going uphill at slower speeds? Or is it more sharp feeling like a misfire ?
