In production question

Mine started in production last Tuesday (9-21) with no date . Today in the tracking site it has a date of 9/28 in production. What does this mean? Has is just started or was it started last Tuesday?

Production starts 1 week prior to the truck going down the line. The 9/28 date should be your blend date (production date).

Think of the week prior as gathering parts.

Have you had any updates to your build? My truck started production on 9/23 and the production date updated on 10/1 to populate the tracker with 10/1 production date. That matches the expected blend date that it showed on the window sticker, and it has an ETA of 11/4.

Ford is so screwed up with all this, the craziness is their normal. Mine went into production 8/25, switched to built on 9/20 awaiting shipment. Estimated delivery 10/2. Now it says N/A. Still awaiting shipment.

My TRX was built 8/21 and at the dealer 9/4. Ford has screwed the pooch.

Yes it shows built 9/28 and in shipping as of 10/1. ETA delivery of 11/14. My shipping ETA is 11/14 - hoping sooner!

Yeah, hopefully it gets there sooner for you. I don't know how they can estimate mine to be built later and arrive sooner, coming all the way to CA. I have a bed liner and retractable tonneau cover.

Hope you have better luck than me, mine said ”In Production” on 8/11, Blend date was 8/19, I confirmed with Ford Performance chat on 8/21 that my truck was complete. Didn’t update to “Built” until 9/18. ETA was 9/24 then 10/13 and now 10/25 but truck still hasn’t shipped yet. No holds that my dealer or Ford Performance can see.

Could be using it as a test vehicle on the road course out back of the plant, giving it a proper shake down.

The process is entirely frustrating to say the least. I went through the same scenarios as described above.

Being on the other side with having my truck, and I’m sure others will chime in, the tracker website is just a source of frustration in my opinion. At best it’s days behind what is actually going on.

In the age of information we come to expect being able to have answers and info immediately. And other than talking to Ford performance the website is nothing more than a guess

This is not to make excuses because I checked it everyday, but the reality of accuracy it provides is null.
