I think that the depictions of the non-carbon fiber were early renders and the actual material is similar looking to carbon fiber, but with a more rubbery texture. You can tell by the lid to the wireless charging compartment which is smooth in the non-carbon fiber trucks. Overall I think it looks good, better that what looked like stainless in my opinion.
