Illuminated SVT Fender Vent Myself

Might sound a little obvious, but I'm not the most mechanically inclined.

Will i have to saw through any of the existing metal so that the light shines through the HDPE? I have a 2014 raptor.

Yep, when you pop off the fender vent there's a piece of fiberglass that's body color that shows SVT. you have to remove that part.

I use to take it off with a flathead and a towel. I have the tool to get hood vents off and use that now. It's easy, just take your time.
