Service writer called a little while ago, they are going to go ahead and update the transmission module. Should be ready tomorrow, getting some other stuff looked at too. I will report back.

In case anyone else in Central TX needs this done, I am dealing with Jackie at Maxwell. Very professional.

So far still so good...updated flash has smoothed out everything and settled in.

I had the flash done over Christmas and had no issues after it was fun to drive again.

This weekend I towed a 12” wood chipper in tow haul mode, and now afterwards my transmission is freaking out again, not up shifting, then slamming into gear, and racing for 10th gear @25 mph

Well Sumbitch! That sucks.

I got mine back yesterday, shifts great now. Funny, I towed a chipper last week too. Hope it is easily resolved for you.

My 2017 was bogging down in city traffic driving not wanting to downshift. It was also surging when I put it in first on cold starts. Took it to the dealer to check it out. Still have about 15kmiles left on 8 yr 100k premium care warranty. Dealer called and said no codes were retrieved. Said they cleared adaptive in the TCM and completed learn drive cycle. Said vehicle is shifting fine now. Went to pick vehicle up and they tell me that it’s not covered under warranty beca not parts were necessary for the repair? They charged me one hour service at $300/hr + tax of course. Anyone else dealt with a software issue not being covered under warranty?

That is ridiculous.

I have a 2017 and I received the TCM TSB. Shifts very smoothly now, even with my tune and before I put the tune back on it... it was absolutely incredibly smooth.
