I'm doing the same thing and got some advice from buddies who used to instruct there. Snowbird, Snowbasin, and Powder Mountain are where I plan to check out.

I saw one goin thru West Virginia the other day, it was off to the right side of the road as I passed by. You shouldn’t be able to miss it. Let me know how it was, I might try it out later.. happy New Years

Spied this little number at POW MOW in 2016. Yes, it’s the same truck Ford used it the original videos hauling a** thru the desert.

Power Mountain is the best kept secret along the Wasatch front. They have struggled this season but the Powder Gods have let loose in the past 10 days and terrain is starting to open up. I have skied plenty of times during the week with unlimited freshies and lifts all to myself.

Snowbasin is on the other side of Ogden Valley and is wicked steep but can get icy at times if the wind is up.

There’s alway JHole, can never go wrong there.

If you want steeper terrain, hit up Snowbird, if you want a resort that caters more towards snowboards, Brighton. Or if you have a couple days along the Wasatch front, then hit up both, they're only a canyon apart.
