Someone else brought this up, but I also have a 91 sct tune from Hennessey. Last year I was able to get 91 I think in san Felipe by one of the traffic circles.
Should I bring my tuner so I can return to stock tune if I can't find 91 around mikes? If I fill up my screw I think I'll have enough gas for the two days till SF. Though Gordon and I last year got probably 5mpg on parts of the course last year lol.

The course this year is pretty different than last year.

Does the course always change this much each year?

I am getting excited!

The updated plan sounds awesome! Can't wait. You really have this trip's logistics down Trey!

Few things I am doing to prep/pack:
Spot lights
Mag lights
few Music CD's
download course map onto GPS
clean out truck, NO KNIFES or stray bullets. last year I cleaned out my truck and found a few bullets that were roaming around. You never know... it could get you years in jail down there.
Clean out wallet- leave unneeded credit cards, other crap behind. Only bring what you need.
Emergency phone number list in glove box
grabbing extra stickers for any kids at the border crossings, race area, etc. Kids love stickers!
Maybe bringing a dirtbike helmet. I might get crazy if the group gets roudy, or if a smaller group goes on a high speed crazy fast run, etc.
army shovel
cell phone charger
safety wire/wire cutters/ duct tape/ news paper/ lighter
turn cell phone data and call features off when crossing the border and in mexico so you dont get tons of data chargers, and I dont expect any cell calls, so I keep my cell function off, but the phone itself on.
sun screen
I bring 4 of those big drinking water jugs. so about 10 gallons (for radiators, etc.)- costco has them 2 in a box, so 2 boxes. I also bring a pack or two of dirnking water bottles.
Instant coffee (star bucks kind)- just need to find hot water :) the rooms probably have pots
heavy jacket. Mornings are cold sometimes
zip ties
microfiber towels/rags
paper towels
TOILET PAPER

The rest is pretty much normal stuff for trips or was already mentioned, etc.

My Tuesday morning plan:
Leave home at 3:30am. Takes 2:45min to get from my place to Tecate.
6:30am groceries down in Tecate or on the way by San Diego before 6:30am.
7am : Change money, Get gas
7:30am take off
7:30am: turn off cell phone data/phone

Concerns:
I might not have a Raptor (haha, still waiting on Outlaw): http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f5/my-raptor-vs-prius-20114/
My Outlaw chase package ICOM radio might not have 151.775 programmed into it.
Stock head lights on a 2011 suck, especially on top perch. I have 2 rigid duallys I want to mount, Trey is helping me in this thread: http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f81/fastest-easiest-way-temp-mount-2-rigid-dually-spot-lights-21640/
My spare is 35" stock, my tires are 37". if something gets jacked up running a 35 might be bad. I might have more info on a 37" spare once I talk to Outlaw.
My crap is going to fly all over my truck when I offroad in the back of the cab. Last year my motorcycle ramp rubbed the crap out of my door and left a big old rub mark in the pastic. Looking into 13 gallon plastic boxes for my crap/food/etc.

I always carry a knife.

You can run a smaller spare, it just needs to go on the front. Which sucks, because your flat will be in the back, just makes for some extra jacking and wrenching.

I generally bring a gallon of coolant, a gallon of water, and a case of water. Water is heavy!

I have a little stove and pot you can boil water with.

Baby Wipes.

I generally strap boxes in the back using L Track. Available a bunch of places. For the back seat I use the seatbelt.

I can program 151.775 into your radio, I'll have my cable and laptop with me. Check your radio for LocosMocos. PCI usually programs it in, and outlaw just buys their radios from them.
