Hahhaha been there once or twice. Seriously though would it be financially feasible for 4-6 of us to meet in a central location and have our trucks transported? Probably a bad idea and would cost to much but I would definitely pay a few extra bucks to fly down and avoid putting the miles on my truck.

I really wanted to come to TRR this year and looked into transportation because I couldn't afford the extra time it would take to drive down. Bottom line is that the cost is almost the same as driving figuring in gas and stops and one or two nights in a hotel. Problem is this, the car trucking industry is totally unreliable. They say they will get your truck down on a certain date but its an arbitrary date. You can be pretty certain that the truck will be there at least 3 days late....and that's if you are lucky.
The other issue is that since most of us have method wheels I'm not so sure about them fitting on a carrier.
One option would be to get enough trucks for the whole trailer and make it "ours" that way we could be more sure about pick up and delivery times. We would still have to consider mechanical breakdowns in our shipping time.
