Tonight was a bit long. Was installing my vision x's and hood mounts and one of the nylon lock nuts froze up in the middle of the stud on the light. It was not cross threaded. None of the threads were messed up till I tried to take it back off. Then the nut literally stripped the threads from the stud. I ended up cutting the stud about half way down. It actually worked out pretty good. Now it was 10 o'clock and I need a metric M10x1.50 nylon locking nut and ALL the parts stores are closed. Thankfully my family have been doing business with one of the parts stores for about 40 years and know the owner. He was kind enough to come up and meet me and open his store just to help out and wouldn't even take any money for doing it either. I tell ya, sometimes it really is nice to live in a smaller town.

Madcow: Those lenses are easily fixed. Nothing more than 4 hex screws and a rubber washer between the lens and housing. I can fix mine in a minute or so. (I bust mine on trees all the time). Yea, sucks getting a new product and finding it broken
