cut the relays off the lights... the switches in the truck have relays. Black wires to the neg terminal. red ones to the upfitter wires.

That is what I thought, but I was just scared to cut them. I will hook it up like that and it will be sooooo much easier!

I picked up my vision-x 4500s this evening and looked at the harness and figured the same thing that All the way said. I'm glad you guys discussed this. Now to install the hood mounts, lights and re-arched leaf springs tomorrow night. Then it's final packing time
