Couple questions from a newb.

Any recommendations on helmet style or a particular model?

Anyone have a good or bad experience bringing family including young kids in an RV? They have fun camping at state parks but don't have any interest in off roading. Thanks

A lot of us just run an open face helmet and it has to be DOT approved f course.

As for family and kids this rent had tone of family and kids there it's a family oriented event they might now like off road stuff but there's exotic animals a pool and other things to do as well I'm sure they'd enjoy it

I brought 2 teenage boys last year. We had a great time. There is tons of stuff to do. We tented it, an RV may be a little easier if you bring your wife. I know my wife wont be going as she doesnt like to camp and doesnt like car stuff. go figure, im one of the biggest car freaks around and do car events almost every weekend.

nothing like shelling out $500 for car events in the spring summer. Im signing up to drive on the new F1 track in Austin for June as well.

Some of us run Snell SA2010 helmets, which can be used for drag racing and road course racing.

Yea there's lots of options for helmets and you can't really go wrong as long as its DOT approved. I gotten from outlaw it's a simple open face HJC helmet

If you search HJC open face, there is a $70 one that pops up.
