New to this thread...but going to TRR. Just some questions...how big of a camping area do we get...i have a BIG tent/tents. How early is everyone going..if we get there Wednesday will we be able to set up our camping site? It's a bit of a drive for me. How many people can ride in the truck? Are there any other female drivers/owners going? oooo and I'm sure I'll have more later..

There are plenty of areas for whatever tents and gear you have. As far as people in truck I'm sure it's however many seatbelts and helmets you have.
And welcome! It's a blast.

Dealer has had my truck for 19 days total now. As a number of you know I'm having a problem with my 4-wheel drive.

I can engage my 4wd Hi if I'm stopped (or even less than 5 mph). I can drive in 4wd with no issue and disengage at any time at any speed.

If I engage 4wd at any speed higher than 5 mph, I get a grinding noise in the front end. The noise continues as long as I stay in 4wd, but I can switch back to 2wd and the noise is gone.

FORD'S EFFORTS SO FAR: Transfer case replaced twice (one was delivered defective), all wiring tested, solenoid inspected, vacuum lines checked, IWE's replaced, and now they're ordering a another new set of IWE's.

THE PROBLEM: The Ford master tech now believes the synchronizer in the transfer case which spins the front driveshaft up to speed, is not doing its job. The driveshaft is not spinning up to speed, so the wheels are locking and then trying to lock the driveshaft. Since this is happening in reverse order, the whole process is screwed.

They say this is the first time they've encountered the problem, so they are trying to diagnose the fix as they go. Not very comforting!!

Trey - I haven't paid yet because I have no confidence that my truck will be fixed in time. I have 4 Icon shocks just waiting for me to install. Plus a few other items for TRR. I can't imagine they'll have my truck for another month - and if they do there will be hell raining down on Ford!! If I pay for my spot by 3/22, do you think I could sell my spot if someone else wanted to go and my truck wasn't ready?

Damn! We need you! If it's not ready, just bring it anyway. 2WD is all ya need. Just try to resist the urge to kick it 4 wheel

I'm sure if he takes it from the dealer before its fixed to offroad in it the dealer will not keep fixing under warranty
