I went with rapid red because lightning blue was no longer an option

Velocity Blue is actually a nicer and almost identical color to Lightning blue. I was very upset it was not available in 2019, until I saw Velocity Blue next to my other Lightning Blue vehicle. I have both colors in the garage now and the Velocity Blue is a just a tade brighter, in a good way, and makes it look superior to the Lightning Blue vehicle it is parked next to. Plus the blue seats compliment it nicely. Those seats would look aweful in a Rapid Red truck.

Color preference is subjective.

Yes color is subjective. But in a technical sense, black and white are not colors, they're shades. Gray would probably fall in as a shade too. I like some color in my life.

You cant beat a nice black, for the 1st 5 minutes after it is cleaned.

White, good for Arizona.

Had a '13 Tuxedo Black F350, if they offered that in '19 Raptor would've owned it. Love that color.

Red Jewel Metallic '74 Camaro
Black '08 JKR- her choice not mine
Magnetic Metallic '17 Explorer Sport

So the only other color not in the stable- Blue

Love it

I guess, if you really want to be technical, but they're still referred to as colors by the automotive industry. And there's probably no automotive gray that is simply a mixture of black and white. They all have some tints of red, blue, green, Etc in them. Actually so do a lot of the so-called blacks and whites.

I like lightning blue better because it's a bit darker. I had a lightning blue 2017. If it was still an option my 2020 would be lightning blue.

Don't mean to nitpick but those are not red, those are maroon.

Maroon is in the red family of colors. But I would disagree and say that the color is actually more burgundy than maroon. It does look more maroon in the photo due to the lighting and contrast against the snow.

To be fair though, I am subjective. I refuse to classify anything I own or like as maroon in color...being that I graduated from UT Austin.
