Only gussets were added to the rear frame.
And I believe they started that on the 2012s
Kind of the kit you buy from our vendors to add on to the Raptors that don't have them.

really any of the 6.2L Raptors are going to be fun but as mentioned, those factory updates are more sought after in the later years. Personally I'd buy a 13 or 14, you get all the updates Ford did plus you can upgrade the sync 2 system to the current sync 3. as well the HIDs are some of the best ever offered on a production truck.

Thanks and my son wishes for me to purchase two! He gets my 03' F350 King Ranch, Crew Cab, Long Bed (is that long enough?) once I get my Screw. And why is it called a "screw"?

I'm by far no expert...but I'd buy another SHELBY in a heartbeat....mine was sent down to Shelby in Vegas as soon as first owner bought...$20K later is came back a freaking Monster.....fastest Vehicle I've even driven,and I have a '63 Corvette with a 383 Stroker that the Shelby would toast....in fact,the '63 gets little road time since I got the Raptor....LOLOL...

There were several colors that were only available certain years, so if you want one of those the decision is easy

Ebony black: 2011
Orange interior accents: 2010/2011
Terrain: 2013/2014
No silver in 2010
Ruby Red: 2014

Oxford white, tuxedo black, race red and blue flame were available every year I think.

Thats why you search out the Mint Gen1 for under $50...Gen1 Shelby is way different than a Gen2 Shelby...and agreed...over $100K for a Raptor is out of question for most....but there are still great values out there on the Gen1 for half that....Just need to find one the little old lady drove to church only on Sundays and not some 20 yo who hits the trails every weekend trying to inpress the gals..lol..I bought mine from a fellow who was late 50's,and used to drive to work everyday...few road trips..never off-road,and totally OCD about upkeep....when it arrived on the transporter I thought I had bought a brand new truck....you could even eat off the top of the Whipple engine was so clean...
Do your homework and you will be paid off.....I've been offered more than I paid for mine after owning for 1 year..
