ok god dammit whats up with guys thinkin their trucks should be 8 second cars...

ITS A TRUCK
it wasnt made for speed
it was made for a thing called OFF ROAD

so what if a dodge pulls up to you or a tundra and wins....... well yeah it depends of the following factors
1. they are lighter trucks
2. they are street trucks and werent made for off roading
3. if you know how to launch your truck properly and switch gears yourself that will help
4. and drag racing someone in 4x4 then switiching on the fly to 2wd...... sure youll win but may i ask why???

people dont pull up to my truck to race me.... people pull up to look at it and take pics because of the off road look.
the raptor is a slowpoke, and if you just supercharge it well..... ok youll go fast on pavement... but once that road runs out your shit outta luck just like i tell anyone that wants to race me.... at the end of that long stretch of pavement theres gonna be a dirt road..... I advice you not to stay behind me unless you want your windshield broken and a bunch of paint dings lol

I think the ultimate reality is that not everyone offroads. As much as I would love to offroad every opportunity I had, I can't. 99% of my driving is on pavement. I see it as instead of investing in some mods to improve my offroading, why not improve power for pavement. I would never take a Raptor and make it a complete street truck (bigger rims, street tires, lowering, etc) but forced induction, although expensive, is a minor mod in the grand scheme of what the raptor actually is.

sure to some extent you could always take it off roading but..... just adding superchargers just to race someone? street racing doesnt mean anything, and doesnt show driver skill.....

i won all the little races i did when i was stock with a tuner... now? hell no im so slow! 37;s really made me slower than ever on pavement..... but as i said give me a washed out dirt road ill be go faster than i do on the highway... good luck there dodge

I see so many people starting at me its funny. You want a race on the pavement, let me go home and get my R1, you wanna race in the dirt. ok I guess I can take the raptor.. Either the ford or the 250, May be getting a 450 once the R1 is paid off.

Wanna go the to track to race. Ok 05 R6 That's how I roll. but its fun kicking ass where your not supposed.

Tundra is quicker 0 - 60. Have you driven one lately I have before I bought my raptor I owned one Love it. When I test drove one again the power is so jerky. The fords power is smooth.

My Tundra was the TRD rock warrior package. Basically an appearance package, Most badges removed from factory, fake beed lock rims and some fancy pedals and gear shifter inside. I would post some pic's but this is a ford place; all thought I have a sweet HDR photo at the beach.

There is a place and time for everything. Street racing is illegal anyway.
