I kind of skipped over the "New Member Check In," so I'm gonna start over!
Hey everyone!
I'm stoked to have found an active community, with tons of knowledge. I came from a Tacoma, where we had Tacoma World, and this feels like an equal version of activeness, so definitely love that.
I have a 2017 802A Avalanche Grey. No sunroof. No tailgate applique. Bought with 76k miles, Currently at 116k.
Only thing outside of stock are Method Wheels, and RC Fog light kit. These were both on there when I bought the truck.
Carmax Warranty (until 150k miles) has so far covered: Thermostat, Valve Throttle Body, New Version of Cam Phasers, and Currently getting a new OEM 10R80 Transmission thats being warrantied for an additional 3year/Unlimited miles. I love the truck. Also thankful for the warranty.
I didn't plan on keeping it, so I haven't really done anything to it. But that's changed.
I figured I wanted to protect the 10R80 new transmission to prevent the same stuff happening all over again, so I bought an Access Port yesterday, and plan to use Goosetune to get everything dialed. Also ordering and looking for a bunch of other parts/accessories so that I can get ready to do the 2026 Snoball Raptor Run.
