To make a long story short, I am back into a Raptor after a brief stint with a diesel F150.

Picked up a Lead Foot SCREW with the bead lock wheels and the carbon pack.....

Still not impressed with the sound of the turbo v6 but it is a sweet ride and made me miss my Gen 1 so now I am back into a Raptor. Happy as can be....

Never understand how anyone can go from a Raptor to another truck. What would make you get a diesel F-150 when you had a Raptor?

Really, I had the FX4 in a Lariat trim so it was not basic truck. The 3 liter diesel motor is a ford Europe motor. It came in the HSE Range Rover and is a good motor 400+ ft. lbs of torque and it got 24 mpg. The powerstroke family of motors are very strong and very good especially if you tow stuff which I don't and is why I am back in a Raptor.

I can see trying a diesel. Diesels feel like locomotives to me. Not quick, but unrelenting pull.

For sure if you tow a lot I realize the Raptor might not cut it. Just seems like a totally different animal otherwise.
