Who ever designed how the safety chains hook up to the truck for towing should be beaten with a stick! What a freaking ass pain!!!

Those things seem pretty weak in my experience with them. I'm not hooking my safety chains to those.

Interestingly enough, bought a new trailer to haul my ATV’s and the trailer place stated the Ford and the craptie (Chevrolet) have the same issue.

But, once you figure it out. It is really quite simple to hook them up.

They also designed the bed tie-downs. And probably the stupid bed liner square grooves the dont let you shovel media out without constantly hitting those square slots that no one uses.

Over 30 years I've had Ford trucks, and all the bed tie downs have completely sucked ass.

What's so hard? You just hook from the back and not the front. Easy peasy

I use those on mine also, much easier to hook the boat chains up...
