Mine is hot as flames At 68 degrees almost too warm
I have a Gen 3 and on heat mode it runs HOT throughout the thermostat setting. Set at 61 degrees it blow like 80 degrees. Only when I set it on "Lo" does it blow cool air. anyone else having a problem? for clarity it was 35 degrees outside temp last night......set the fan on setting 1 or Hi and the temp at 61 and its still blowing hot as blazes!!!!!

Has anyone else noticed the heating and A/C is just not that powerful on their Gen3?

1. Even cranked up to "HI" temperature and max fan speed, the air is more like "very warm" than hot, and it's not blowing that fast. Both in temperature and in speed it feels like it's set one notch below what I'd expect the maximum to be. In contrast - my Porsche will burn you if you hold your hand in front of the vent on max/Hi.
2. The auto climate control is not very aggressive. In my old Gen2 I generally left it at 70 and it worked fine. In the Gen3 I have to crank it up to 78 if I want it to warm - down to 65 if I want it cool. Yes, I do have the auto fan speed limit set to max. It just doesn't try very hard to reach the set temperature.
3. The vents don't seem balanced, there is more air coming out of the center vents than the side vents.
4. Very little airflow and heat/cold reaches the rear seats.

I don't remember these issues on the Gen2. Anyone else noticed something similar? I like driving trucks because they usually have pretty robust HVAC - this one is just adequate. The weather here has been pretty mild since I got the truck two months ago - I'm a little concerned about what it will be like when I take into actual hot/cold weather.
My tremor has had great hvac power and temperature, and I live in Las Vegas where summers get to 120 degrees.
I’ve also been in snowy mountains and the heat will blast you out.

I sure hope my new raptor doesn’t suck, I figured it’d be the same

My 2022 Gen 3 does the same thing, bringing it to the dealer next week. I'll update once I hear back from them.

Mine goes to the dealer on the 25th for an oil change and HVAC diagnosis. System runs fine but yea inconsistent with temps
What did the dealer say? I do wish the air volume was larger, temps seem fine on mine

This just happened to mine. Anyone know of if the dealer was able to fix it?

Yeah @KCHawkeye02, both of those guys just fell off the map.
I’m here!

I’m here boys sorry I did a raptor run yesterday and been out of cell signal.

The dealership I worked with was rad. They basically tried every which way to duplicate including driving it for an hour on the highway (with my approval) to get the truck to simulate what it did with me. Ended up resulting in a could not duplicate. But to be fair, they did try their hardest.

The service manager was awesome and basically said look if it happens again, regardless of time of day, no appointment, drive straight here and we will observe/correct.

As of late, almost a month later, and now about 150miles of driving in the heat yesterday, with about 60 of it being off-road, in 4wd, baja mode, no issues at all. They did take both pressure/ temp/ sensor reading at all ducts and all passed so it’s one of those anomalies I guess when basically 99.999% of these trucks run off sensors.

I am noticing mine is intermittent also. The only real plan I can have now is to wait for it to happen and take it straight to dealer.
