Curious what everyone thinks as far as how many years ford will do of the gen3 Raptor or this design F150 in general?

The Gen2 wasn’t produced until the 3rd model year in for the ‘15-‘20 design generation F150, but the gen3 came out late ‘21 - same model year as the fresh design F150 in general

Is the consensus 6 total model years & the Raptor will be produced all years w/ the last being ‘26?

I wonder if Ford will continue to produce what is essentially a refreshed version of this design after MY ‘26 while also producing a separate line of hybrid & EV F150s? Kinda like the Ram classic lol

Probably until 2026, same assembly line so it would need to adapt to the new 15th generation.

The Lightning platform is already different and has its own production facilities.

The 1500 Classic is whole different situation. They retooled Sterling Heights for the new 5th generation 1500, and to save money opted to keep the Warren plant operating to make the 4th generation for a few more years instead of investing money to make a mid-sized truck. When Stellantis happened they just kept that going as people keep buying them. Ford's product line is more robust, pretty much all in or nothing with the volume F-150.

Almost certain the raptor will be back for gen 15, it’s way too popular, in 3 years ford has been able to raise the base price by over 10k and ppl are still paying adm. cash cow and incredibly popular.

I do expect the raptor to be a high output powerboost in the next gen. Call it 500hp and 600+ lbft
