So I'm considering adding a supercharger to my 2012 Raptor, but I'm curious as to how many miles is too many to add a blower to it? I've got 83k on mine currently, but have no plans of getting rid of this truck. She's my baby! Also, who has the best bang for the buck on Supercharger kits? Not really wanting to have to sell other toys just to get one! Lol!

As long as the truck has been maintain well, that's fine.
But if any part of the drivetrain that is already in need of repair any added big HP will make quick work of it.

83K is no spring chicken but I've seen blown applications surpass 300K miles on other Ford vehicles! Maintenance, knowing the limits of your internals, and good custom tuning go a long way. We have been supercharging Raptors with the Whipple, Roush, and Procharger systems for over 4 years now. The Engine and Drivetrain are more than safe up to 700 HP (550 RWHP). So as long as you stay with in those limits I would be very confident! With over 300 Supercharged Raptor tune files in our books we can help provide you a tune and even the entire package that would set you straight! Check out our most popular kits, the Roush 650 HP and Whipple 650 HP upgrade packages. Both come complete with custom tuning and all the parts necessary for install. Proven for over 4 years as the most reliable packages available for the Raptor F-150 Trucks!

Let me know if we can help in any way, call sometime 732-780-0770 or email [email protected]

That's awesome guys! I really appreciate the feedback! I had no idea there was THAT much of an increase in performance with the blowers. That's pretty badass!

There is no magic mileage number IMHO. But you can get a better feel for the health of your engine before going to forced induction by doing a few things like reading your sparkplugs, making a dyno run, compression test, leakdown test, etc.

YMMV
