Seems like the energy to buy a raptor has settled big time since 2021. When I bought my 2021 I had to show up the day of ordering to get an allocation. I just called my ford dealer and they said I would be the first customer order for 2025 and should get an allocation next month. Thoughts?

I don't imagine a '25 will be hard to get. I ordered mine in early October and took delivery on New Year's Eve. Considering there were a number of '24s still available the last time I checked, I don't think there will be a big rush on '25 orders. Especially considering the '25 lost a few small standard features.

I just purchased a 24, however I would have ordered a 25 if Race Red was an available color option and the dealer would have have honored a below MSRP deal like I got on my 24.

When I built a 25 it wasn't much higher than my 24. At least a deal below MSRP will help cover some depreciation.

I'm on the fence between getting a '25 and keeping the '20. Features I like and use often seem to be going away but that suspension ... I'll wait and see if I can get a great deal. Maybe if the economy softens.

Yeah I’ve never paid above msrp. I don’t see most dealers adding on cost but there are some crazy ones asking 10k above msrp for a 24’

I ordered a 2025 801A in Space White. I have a 2018 Lead Foot with 80K on the odometer that I am really struggling to see how a 2025 is going to be better apart from the miles.
2018 - LeadFoot, Ceramic, PPF on Front, Deaver +3HD, 2019 Live Valves with SDI EClik, Carbon Fiber, Baja Pro's in the bumper, Baja S1's for Reverse, Retrax MX Pro.
What I am unclear on the 2025?
Does it have the Tailgate Step? (I use this for the Rooftop Tent).
Looks like I will be missing Carbon Fiber on Gear Shifter and up/down shifting on the Shifter.
I also think the Seat Material on my 2018 is thicker than the newer models, My shows zero wear, as I don't slide off the seats when I get out of the truck.

The 2018 Tows the Boat like a champ, the Deavers and the EClik set at 100% on towing works awesome.

Also looks like a 2025 Raptor R just landed at Ron Carter in Alvin, TX in Space White for $20k ADM. I am not a buyer for anything above MSRP, just passing it on

I'm no expert, but if your 18 is mechanically sound, I'd keep driving it for awhile. Unless there's some special feature or color you just gotta have. It sounds like you've invested alot to make the 18 your own. Keeping it is probably the best way to get your money out of it. You'll probably end up doing alot of mods to the 25 to get it to the point you have you're 18.

Sorry, looks like my wife got ahold of my phone...Go for the 25!!! LOL

Just contacted my dealer about ordering a 2025. Might try to scoop up a 2024 if I can find one near me. I’d prefer a 21/22’ but they’re still mid/high 60s. Someone traded in a 24’ with 3k miles on it and it was sold before I could even get a reply from the dealer. :disgust:

The 2018 is in really good shape, one small door ding, and a small chip, the Ceramic and Paint are probably in better shape than a new one. Just a small rattle front left I cannot figure out, not sway bar bushings.
I think you are right, basically +50k for the 2025, warranty good on mine till August 2025 or 125K, even if I dropped a rebuilt tranny in the 2018 I would still be way ahead. Thinking the engine with regular 5k Mobile One Oil changes is good for 150k.
