How do YOU know your 6.2L has enough oil?

Wait so that oil pressure gauge doesn't move while driving....wtf. Would have been cheaper to just have an idiot light.

This may be different now with the new fancy oil pumps, but older Fords only had a pressure switch in the block. On/off.

The only know they have no pressure (off), or more pressure then what it take to trip the switch (on).

For the Gen 1, yes, it's essentially an idiot light. But there is also a warning message that pops up on the gauge of there's no pressure with engine running.

6.5 quarts of 5-20 Mobil 1 Truck, and the balance is Restore V-8 in that silver can. Recommendation from a buddy when I started getting blue smoke on start-up.

My thought on the twisted dipstick was that it adds a bit of rigidity due to the long length.
