I have been contemplating getting the General red letter tires for my Raptor but need to know if they will work in the snow. I live in the Tulsa OK. area so we don't get alot of snow but we can get up to a foot or so at times. Also how do they work in soft sand situations such as playing in the dunes.
Thanks, Jim T

The General's are excellent tires for the dirt, sand and rock. They're very strong and can withstand a big beating. Snow I'm not too sure of yet. I heard they're not the greatest but will do the job. Be aware that once you put these tires on your Raptor, you will feel a significant weight difference. They are HEAVY!.

I drove around on my Generals last winter then switched back to my stock bfgs. They didn't do horrible but the stockers did better on compacted snow and ice. Like RaptorAddict said, they're heavy and the noticed weight is why I only run me Generals when I'm going off roading.

Thanks for the info. I may be better off getting the General AT2's. I had a set on my FX4 and they worked very well in the snow, were quiet on the road, good mileage, and had good traction on a variety of surfaces.
