I have a Lowrance HDS 7m gen 2 touch and I am trying to import trails into it. I have them converted to a .usr file and on my memory card. I put it in and select "import" It shows a status bar for about 5 seconds and then says it is complete. However I can not find the trail in the list of trails or anywhere. If I go to the file menu I can see it on my memory card but not on the system.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong here?/

Thanks!!

Bill

Ran into this problem with mine and realized that it renamed the file to say "1" Look closely at the list or copy the list out and purge than re install. I bet it's there but with a numeric value. Still do not know why it does this with some trail uploads. Working on it.

I scrolled down to the area of the trail I loaded and it is not showing up. I also opened all 6 trails that are in my Lowrance and none of them are the one I just imported. This seems so simple but is so frustrating right now . . .

It is a 2 GB card. I can see the file on the card but when I import it I can not find the file on my Lowrance anywhere.

Thanks!

Our resident geek (Matt) is out of the country. I he gets wifi I will ask him for you. Which model Lawrence do you have so I can ask him. Also you can try sending him an email through the club.

The HDS 7M Touch can use up to 32 gb SD card according to Lowrance tech support last Thursday. Mine keeps losing GPS fix randomly. I think I need external antenna.

We had a similar problem on the recent Lost Coast run with one of the guys. He cleared all the files, not just the one you just loaded. Then he loaded it and it showed up. Weird.
